Looking forward to contribute to the world of music - Shihan

Shihan Mihiranga, heart throb of the young generation is back again to contest for the Sunday Observer Personality of the year. He received his education at De Mezenod College, Kandana and was fortunate enough to be selected to the University of Colombo, but decided to obtain his 'Visharadha' music finals in India this year.

Shihan has built himself an impressive image in western and eastern music. In the year 2006 he was awarded as the artist with the most popular album, by Sirasa. He was also awarded as the "Youth Band Ambassador of the year" by United Nations in 2006.

Shihan's only passion and goal in life is to share, with other amateur musicians his knowledge of music in the future and to touch upon all styles of music, so he could serve the national music industry by propagating the local exotic flavour coupled with his own sense of style.

"I hope and have the faith that my fans would be with me at all times and know my talents for what they really are and render me due support."
