Hey, gal's and guys it's great to be back again after one week to
share the power of a nation which is indeed the youth. First and
foremost let me thank all the readers who sent me the applications to
become the prestigious members of the "Observer Youth Club".
Starting from next week I will be carrying their names, so have a
look at the page to see who have become part of this exciting mission.
And remember to have a little patience in case if your name is not

Fans: Anchor to success
Roshan Ranawana dream hero in many hearts and prince charming in the
world of fashion is ready to take the challenge of winning the “Sunday
Observer Young Personality Of The Year”. Roshan, got the opportunity to
take part in a Bridal Show for modelling soon after he got his education
from St. Josephs, College and Asian International. That’s where he took
the initiative step to catch the eye of people.
In the year 2002 he took part in Mr. Sri Lanka contest and won the
title. The “Man Hunt International” pageant was held in the year 2002,
Shanghai, China. Roshan was able be among the top ten, he was the
seventh.
Without stopping from there he represented the country at the “Mr.
World” contest which was held in of London in 2003. In the same year
Roshan took part in the “Model of the year” pageant and was the 3rd
runner up and won the title for the “Best National Costume”. Last year
he once again represented the country in “Mr. International” in
Singapore and once again was able to be among top ten models.
The film “Hiripoda Vessa” became the gate way for him to enter his
fans hearts as the dream hero. Roshan, thinks that he is still a
beginner for the national cinema and has so much to learn from the
veterans to serve the industry in a more fruitful manner. Lastly he said
fans support has been and will always be his anchor to success. |
