150,000 houses for slum dwellers

Over 150,000 houses will be constructed for people living in under-served settlements in Colombo, said Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

The slum and shanty settlement community is due to the wrong economic strategies adopted in the past. Their problems including houses will be solved soon, the Minister said.
