Gurukula win easily

Gurukula Vidyalaya trounced St. Mary's College, Chillaw by 137 runs in their inter-school under-17 Division one tournament cricket match conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and played at Colombo.

Selecting to bat Gurukula totalled 279 with Lisula Lakshan and Roshan Anuruddha scoring the identical score of 75 runs. Malindu Ruskshan claimed 4 for 57 for the visitors.

Marians in their turn bowled out for 142 with Janith Pramod capturing 4 for 31.

Gurukula: 279 in 49.1 overs - Lisula Lakshan 75, Roshan Anuruddha 75, Kasun Madushanka 42, Sanuka Randinuka 3/16, Malindu Rukshan 4/57.
