Ashan of Royal College, Panadura are the Sunday Observer/Mobitel
Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketers of the Year. Sajeewa Salgado edged
out team-mate Ashan Wanigaratne in All-Island contest. Salgado
finally obtained 78,002 votes and Wanigaratna received 77,304 votes.
