Royal in hard fought 14-7 win over Joes
Two penalties put over by Royal skipper and fly
half Rimzi Jamaldeen midway in the second half made the major
difference when Royal pulled off a hard fought 14 points (a try and
three penalties) to 7 (one goal) win over St. Joseph’s in the Singer

Trinity fight-back to beat Antonians 22/14
From what looked a certain defeat at one stage
Trinity College put up a sterling performance to convert this into a
win when they defeated their traditional rivals St. Anthony's
College, Kandy by 22 points (1 goal, 3 tries) to 14 (1 try 3
penalties) in their schools Under-19 Division I Segment 'A' rugby
tournament match played at Trinity College Rugby Stadium at
Pallekele yesterday.
