‘TNA resolution, part of broader political conspiracy’

Samarasinghe said the recent resolution that was passed in the Northern
Provincial Council (NPC), weeks ahead of the Geneva Human Rights Council
sessions, is part of a broader political conspiracy by international
players, coordinated by diaspora groups to destabilise the country.
UPFA nominations finalised
The United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA)
candidates contesting in the Kalutara, Gampaha and Colombo districts of
the Western Provincial Council and the Galle, Matara and Hambantota
districts in the Southern Provincial Council will submit their
nomination papers at the relevant District Secretariat offices on
February 3 and 5,
