HRP elects executive committee

The Association of HR Professionals (HRP) elected the executive committee 2011/2012 at its AGM held recently.

Ms. Gayathri Chakravarthy (Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC) assumed office as the newly elected President, while Ms Chiranthi Cooray (Hatton National Bank PLC) and Asitha Jayatunga (Expolanka Holdings PLC) were appointed Vice Presidents. Thilan Perera (HNB Assurance PLC) was appointed Secretary and Ms. Maduka Rathnaweera (CIC Holdings PLC) Treasurer. Assistant Secretary is Ms. Chathuskka Seneviratne (Aitken Spence PLC) and Assistant Treasurer is Ms. Dinali Peiris (MAS Holdings). Isuru Tillakawardana (Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC) is the immediate past president. Ten other prominent Human Resource Professionals were appointed as executive committee members.
