Special parking lots for differently-abled

Police have held discussions with officials of Provincial Councils and local bodies such as the Municipal Council in Colombo and elsewhere to provide special parking allotments for vehicles of differently-abled persons in the near future as in other developed countries, Police Media Spokesman, SP, Ajith Rohana told the Sunday Observer.

He said that discussions with officials of local bodies to provide parking lots for differently abled persons have been finalised and the police will issue a special sticker to be pasted on their vehicles for identification purposes.
