CH-Police should be close battle

RUGBY: Today's CH & FC versus Police game at Maitland Crescent in the Caltex 'A' Division League Rugby Championship could turn out to be quite a close battle. This game was scheduled for yesterday, but was put off for today due to the funeral of former CH skipper Saranga Jayakody.

CH beat Air Force 19-0 in their first game, and should be able to get on top of the Policemen who fared very well to beat Havelocks 16-12 last week.

Havelocks are also tipped to win their first game when they lock horns with Old Zahirians at Longden Place. OZSC too lost their opening game badly (0-77) to Kandy last week.

Kandy will be able to get the better of the Soldiers at Nittawela. The soldiers lost to CR (3-32) and Kandy who routed OZSC will make every attempt to score as many tries as possible.
