Despite stalemate LTTE committed to peace - Thamilselvan

LTTE's political wing leader, S. P. Thamilselvan reiterated, despite the current stalemate in resuming the peace talks, the LTTE would remain committed to the Ceasefire Agreement (CA), and will continue to work towards a political settlement to the National Question.

ANCL lights up Mihintale

Dengue epidemic looms

Looming signs of an epidemic, the deadly dengue disease has killed 19 people including five children under the age of 15 during the past five months. According to health authorities, there is a 40 per cent increase in the number of suspected cases reported during the past five months compared to the corresponding period last year.
