Shortage of coconuts hits all sectors
The shortage of coconuts in the country is
adversely affecting all sectors of the coconut industry. Coconut
cultivators cannot provide coconuts to the processing and other
value added sectors due to the drop in production.

Need for SMEs to access more funds stressed
Only 40 per cent of the SMEs have access to
banking and other financial institutions. Our intention is to create
an environment for more SMEs to gain access to the formal funding
sources, Financial Markets Specialist International Finance
